Opportunities for all
Playing together is a great social, as well as educational, activity.

40th Anniversary Concert!
Monday 29th June was 40th Anniversary concert night! Starting at 7.00pm the concert was a resounding success.

As well as our usual groups playing, we had lots of former members returning to play during the second half of the concert.

With a packed programme and a wide range of excellent music everyone seemed to really enjoy being part of this fantastic event.

The string group (EASTO) is conducted by Sue Leonard, assisted by Jo Leonard.
The wind group (EAWO) conducted by Gabrielle Horne, assisted by Sarah Finch.

Both groups take players from approximately stage / grade one upwards. We have regular concerts at the end of each term at Thornden.

In addition we have an annual trip to Avon Tyrrell for a weekend of music making and outdoor activities.

Rehearsals are on Mondays during term time at the fabulous Thornden School Concert Hall from 5.30pm to 6.45pm.
