Spring Concert Monday 21st March

Thank you to everyone who attended the Spring Concert and helped make it such an enjoyable evening.

With a wide variety of music from all the groups it was a very enjoyable musical evening, well done to all the children, staff and helpers.

Please don't forget to tell any guitar players you know about EAGE and also encourage anyone who might be thinking of joining EASO to come to a rehearsals evening and join in.

Avon Tyrrell Residential

The annual trip to Avon Tyrrell was another fantastic opportunity to have fun and rehearse. Although it was a very cold weekend and the outdoor activities were a little frosty the mix of music and fun made the trip a resounding success.

We owe all the staff that organised and attended the weekend a big thank you for yet again making this a memorable event. Also a big thank you is due to all the members of EASO for all their hard work in rehearsing culminating in a fabulous concert

EAGE

EAGE is the guitar club for stage/grade one plus and is free until September so if you're just starting out then please come along we meet in Drama 1 from 5.30-6.30pm.

EASO Trainers

Don't forget about the EASO Trainers for wind and percussion players starting their first band, all welcome.

The string group (EASTO) is conducted by Sue Leonard, assisted by Nathalie Ryan.
The wind group (EAWO) conducted by Gabrielle Horne, assisted by Sarah Finch.

Both groups take players from approximately stage / grade one upwards. We have regular concerts at the end of each term at Thornden.

In addition we have an annual trip to Avon Tyrrell for a weekend of music making and outdoor activities.

Rehearsals are on Mondays during term time at the fabulous Thornden School Concert Hall from 5.30pm to 6.45pm.
